GPOYW: Wordpress keeps breaking and i’m really glad I dont use it for anything but testing edition
Wordpress has its uses but I have stopped using it altogether. It’s straddled the line of blogging engine and CMS for too long. By trying to do everything it’s cannibalized itself.
If I want something simple, I use Tumblr. If I need a complex blog (where uptime/speed/multiuser is an issue), I use Squarespace. If I want a CMS, I’ll use Drupal or build it myself.
RIP Wordpress.
